I decided to work with Josh because after years of competitive sports, distance running, and general workout chaos, I experienced consistent pain in my knees and lower back. The program I was provided was designed specifically to help me build the relevant strength that allows me to be active without pain and continue to pursue my fitness goals.

Josh and I started working together two years ago, at the beginning of COVID. I started working out with Josh before my wedding and, after just a few months, I looked better than I had even hoped on my wedding day. After the wedding, the real work on functional training began. Josh did a full analysis of how I move and what in my body wasn't working optimally and set up personalized exercise plans for me to work on those areas.

For the past few years, Josh and I have been working on a holistic approach to strengthening my body, including working on my breathing and movement patterns. It hasn't been easy but I can tell that I am much stronger than I was prior to working with Josh. Josh Clark is more than a trainer. He is gifted in understanding human physiology and takes the time to truly understand his client's motivation and goals. He has become a trusted partner in my fitness journey over the last 2.5 years. I started seeing him shortly after I fractured my left hip training for a marathon. I had a combination of bad form and underdeveloped muscle groups which Josh quickly addressed.  I returned to running pain free with Josh's steady help and guidance. Josh helped me look amazing for my wedding. Josh expertly observed my form and saw details that I didn't think were possible on how to make the exercises more effective and feel better in my joints.  He got me lifting an amount that I never dreamed I would be able to. Not only did I lose weight, but I gained muscle and looked perfect for my wedding day. An added bonus was when I showed him the wedding dress and he designed the workouts to build muscles to accentuate the dress perfectly.
